DUCKLING ROOM
This week the bigger Ducks got all excited when the teachers got the tunnel out to crawl through! The bigger Ducks are also great teacher helpers, looking after the smaller Ducks, helping put dirty bottles in the sink and throwing trash away in the garbage cans. The smaller Ducks have been busy sitting in the Bumbo seats and rolling around on the floor. A few Ducks have been practicing walking around the room holding onto their teachers fingers. BEAR ROOM This week the Bears talked about the letter S. They dobber painted a shovel and bucket picture and made starfish. The Bears also love doing puzzles and reading the same book over and over again! TIGER ROOM This week the Tigers learned the letter S. They played in shaving cream, practiced writing their names, drew on the chalk board and played in the sand table. For art they made snakes out of the letter S with paper and glue, made tissue paper snowflakes and dobber painted a Sun. The Tigers were also big helpers doing teacher jobs, like setting out cots for nap time and setting the tables for lunch. LION ROOM The Lions had a snow day this week and got to spend the whole day at daycare! They love going to the gym and drawing their own pictures and playing games using their imaginations. I would guess they are based off of a real game, although they create their own pieces and rules and play it themselves.

DUCKLING ROOM
This week the older Ducklings danced, looked at books, named items on flashcards and decorated the baby’s ankles with ring toss toys. They also like to hang the loops on the drawer handles as decoration, silly kids! The little Ducklings snuggled with the teachers, rolled around on the floor, had tummy time, and listened to music on the sound machines while sitting in the bouncy seats and resting in the cribs. TIGER ROOM This week the Tigers learned the letter R. For art they glued fruit loops on a rainbow picture and colored pictures of rabbits and Rapunzel. Other activities included playing with colored rice, riding bikes in the gym, watching an R video on the iPad. The Tigers also played hide the toy, went to the library, and built with magnet blocks. BEAR ROOM On Monday the Bears celebrated Valentine’s Day, thank you to all who sent treats! The letter of the week is letter R. The Bears ran races in the gym, they also pretended to ride camels, horses, elephants, and cows. They used the sun to reflect and make a rainbow on the wall, it wasn’t rainbow shaped, but they loved seeing all the colors! LION KIDS The Lions were on a sugar high Monday after school, after having their Valentine parties! It seems like it takes the Lions longer and longer to get undressed from all their winter gear in the afternoons after a long day at school! Next week you will receive information about Berry Tender's Pancake Breakfast, which will be on Sunday March 20th, from 8-noon. DUCKLING ROOM
This week the bigger Ducks did puzzles, stacked blocks, counted to 5 and pushed cars around the room. They also like to climb in and out of the recliners and behind and under the highchairs. Never a dull moment in the Duck room! The smaller ducks rocked with the teachers, sat in the bumbo seats, and played on the floor. TIGER ROOM This week the Tigers theme was Valentines. Activities included, valentine bingo, valentine name caterpillar, making a chalk heart, handprint valentine cards, coloring, doing an I spy worksheet, decorating valentine bags and playing hide the heart. The Tigers also went to the library, painted, and worked on ABC flashcards. BEAR ROOM The Bears celebrated their friend Anson’s 3rd birthday this week, Happy Birthday Anson! The Chicken Dance is the Bears new favorite dance now that they learned the actions to it…they are always asking to do the Chicken Dance over and over!! LION ROOM This week the Lions did some Valentine worksheets after school. They also built with magnets, played with cars, played board games, and drew on the chalkboard. Reminder to return your child’s Kid Sight consent form by Tuesday morning, as the Lions Club will be coming to test eyes that day. DUCKLING ROOM
This week the older Ducklings tried getting into mischief by putting toys behind the gates underneath the registers and banging against the registers to make loud noises and wake up the babies. They also did a lot of dancing, running, repeating words and stacked blocks. The little Ducklings had tummy time, sat in the bumbo seats, played patty cake, and lounged in the bouncy seats. BEAR ROOM This week the Bears colored a picture of a Quilts and a Queen for the letter Q. For groundhogs’ day the Bears matched groundhogs to their shadows and colored a picture. They sang “Wake up Groundhog” to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle, little star. Dee and Mikhaela are teaching the Bears how to do the Chicken Dance, and they giggle at the teachers so much it is hard for the Bears to do the dance themselves! TIGER ROOM This week the Tigers learned the letter Q. Activities included:
