DUCKLING ROOM
This week the Ducklings were busy pushing cars, stacking blocks, crawling, repeating names and dancing to Christmas music. They also like to carry all the toys in front of the door, and make a big pile, then they will carry them back to the carpet, or stack them on the highchair trays. Don’t let those bigger Ducks fool you, they certainly know what pick up toys means! TIGER ROOM This week for art the Tigers made Christmas wreaths, gingerbread men, and snowflakes with glitter. They also made ornaments with salt dough. Other activities included playdough, coloring Christmas pictures, singing Christmas songs, building with magnets, and writing their names. There was lots of excitement on Thursday, as one of the drainpipes under the bathroom sink rusted a hole through and water was leaking everywhere!! Good thing we have some nice city guys to come fix it for us. BEAR ROOM This week the Bears had an exciting week. Dee was very proud of the job the Bears did at the Christmas concert on Monday, they sang better than they did while practicing in the classroom. For art the Bears made Mistletoes, dobber painted Christmas trees, decorated gingerbread men with gems and glitter, and decorated ornaments and Christmas trees with construction paper. In the Bear room we have a special snowman (like the Elf on the Shelf). His name is Mr. Jingles, and he has been causing lots of trouble, the kids can’t wait to see what he does next! LION ROOM After school, the Lions played in the gym, colored Christmas pictures in the Tiger room and watched a movie in the Fox/Centers room down by the library. Comments are closed.
