DUCKLING ROOM
This week the bigger Ducks continued to pile toys in front of the cubby room door. They are like worker ants, constantly busy, moving toys from one pile to another in the classroom! The smaller Ducks rolled around on the floor, played in the excersaucers, and sat in the highchairs watching the bigger kids. LION KIDS The Lions were full of excitement with school being cancelled Thursday and Friday! They played in the gym, built with Lincoln logs, magnets and drew and cut out pictures. The Lions also played card and board games. BEAR ROOM The Bears talked about owls, oranges, and their favorite-Oreo’s! The Bears worked on their fine motor skills, by tearing paper into the tiniest pieces they could and then glued them on the letter o. They played Ring around the Rosie and listened for the o sound in Rosie. The Bears also fingerpainted, colored and put together puzzles. TIGER ROOM This week the Tigers learned the letter O. They colored and glued cheerios on an octopus and made oceans. Other activities included playing alphabet bingo, ABC popsicle matching, building with magnets and playing with Mr. Potato Head.
