This week the older Ducklings danced, looked at books, named items on flashcards and decorated the baby’s ankles with ring toss toys. They also like to hang the loops on the drawer handles as decoration, silly kids! The little Ducklings snuggled with the teachers, rolled around on the floor, had tummy time, and listened to music on the sound machines while sitting in the bouncy seats and resting in the cribs.
This week the Tigers learned the letter R. For art they glued fruit loops on a rainbow picture and colored pictures of rabbits and Rapunzel. Other activities included playing with colored rice, riding bikes in the gym, watching an R video on the iPad. The Tigers also played hide the toy, went to the library, and built with magnet blocks.
On Monday the Bears celebrated Valentine’s Day, thank you to all who sent treats! The letter of the week is letter R. The Bears ran races in the gym, they also pretended to ride camels, horses, elephants, and cows. They used the sun to reflect and make a rainbow on the wall, it wasn’t rainbow shaped, but they loved seeing all the colors!
The Lions were on a sugar high Monday after school, after having their Valentine parties! It seems like it takes the Lions longer and longer to get undressed from all their winter gear in the afternoons after a long day at school!
